As a full service, custom home-building firm, we take you from site selection through plan design. We are a family of builders with over 75 years years in construction and real estate.  Our current focus is in Winter Garden, Orlando, Winter Park and Clermont.

Kelly Miller founded Mikel Construction in 2015 and after almost 20 years, Kelly joined J & J Building as Director of Construction.  She has been fine-tuning both the team and the process with her father, Jerry Miller and her uncle, Jim Costello.  This year Kelly will take lead of J & J Building. Mikel and J & J will join forces.

Kelly offers not only her eye for design, but also her knowledge of construction combined with flexibility and collaboration throughout the entire process.  

 

Growing up as a builder's daughter, Kelly was virtually born with a hard hat on her head! Following in his her father’s footsteps she headed for the University of Florida, graduated with a BS in Economics and an MBA with Specialization in Entrepreneurship from Nova Southeastern.

 

All builders use the same sticks and bricks to build homes.  It is the style and passion with which those materials are arranged that makes the difference.
